Wedderburn History

More Wedderburn and Weatherburn Families

Alexander Wedderburn could never have imagined the wealth of information which was to be found as successive census returns were published, adding knowledge to the family trees he had already researched. One of the aims of Margaret Evans was to extend his work by using documents he may never have seen and continue family lines into the 20th Century.  A short outline of just some of those more recent families can be found here and we can provide family group records full of detail should you wish to make contact with us. Many of those listed are related in some way.

As we begin the huge task of putting all of Margaret’s work onto our databases and online, it will, inevitably, be some time before this page is completed. We are still extracting data from her huge collection of census documents, so, if the family you seek is not listed, please contact us and we will check the files.
